“Mixed Ability” Bowling Tourney

On 22 July 2011, 20 bowlers participated in the “Mixed Ability” Bowling Tournament located at the Oak Hills Bowling Alley. The tournament consisted of one power chair ramp bowler, one manual chair bowler, and one abled bodied bowler per team. Each member of the winning team received a $50.00 gift card and a lunch, that was provided for all participants and volunteers. Bowlers who participated were veterans and the event was organized by the Audie L. Murphy VAMC Spinal Cord Injury Recreation Therapy.
