9th Annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale

On Friday November 21, 2014 the Audie L. Murphy VAVS Committee hosted the VA Bake Sale at ALMVHS, 100% of the proceeds go directly to a fund that is set up to help Veterans with presonal items that they often need in the hospital. These same Veterans also have needs such as reading glasses, undergarments, warm cloths, bus passes to visit other clinics, phone cards to call loved ones, toiletries and many other basic items. Last year the Bake Sales raised over $3,400.00. TDVA was instrumental in helping this year along with the Ladies of Alpha Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, a lot of the work you see on that table is theirs, God Bless.
