A Country Christmas at La Villita

On 13 December 2009, the TDVA supported “The Door in the Wall” organization’s annual “A Country Christmas” at La Villita by donating gifts for disabled children. The “Door in the Wall” organization, however, serves people of all ages with disabilities. It is the goal of the “Door in the Wall” organization to share resource information and encourage people to try new experiences. By integrating people with mixed disabilities this unique group of people seeks to educate their able bodied peers enabling both to live together with new respect and understanding. The “Door in the Wall”, Inc. has a 501(c) 3 tax status.
